ITINERARY

DAY 01(ARRIVAL):

Meet and assist and arrival transfer to the hotel. 

Enjoy your full day activities to explore the Pyramids & Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkara.

The Pyramids & Sphinx are to be one of the seven wonders of the world.  A single pyramid is built of 2,300,000 blocks, each weighing an average Of two and one–half  tons. In the face of such immensity, one cannot help But feel the wonder and awe that so many writers & artists have sought To convey over the centuries. The Cheops Pyramid is especially interesting Since  its interior burial chambers are open for inspection by the public. 

Nearby the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates  back from the time of Chephren(2620BC).

Memphis presented as the capital of Upper & Lower Egypt some 5,000 years ago during the 1st Dynasty. 

One of the most exciting historical & archaeological area in all of  Egypt is Sakkara , situated about 12 miles South West of Cairo. The site is dominated by the famous step pyramid of King Zoser. It was the first pyramid to be built in ancient Egypt, preceding those at Giza by many centuries, & is the work of the famous pharaonic architect, Imhotep.

DAY 02:

Breakfast at the hotel.

Explore a full day trip to the Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Old Cairo and Bazaar.

The Egyptian Museum remains the main place to display the Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world. It features artifacts from the Pharaonic and Graeco-Roman periods.

The Citadel,  situated on the Mokattam Hills of Old Cairo. Construction of the grand structure began in 1176 and was completed by Mohamed Ali Pasha, ruler of Egypt in the late 19th century. Mamluk sultans and Turkish governors resided in the Citadel, which is among the world's most splendid monuments of medieval warfare. 

The Mosque of Mohamed Ali is located inside the Citadel of Salah al‑Din in Cairo. It was built by Mohamed Ali Pasha (the founder of the Mohamed Ali Dynasty), on the site of Mamluk palaces. He had these demolished to make room for his new building, which is also known as the "Alabaster Mosque", The mosque’s twin minarets are the highest in all of Egypt, with a height of 84 meters.

Old Cairo today hosts a unique collection of monuments that attest to the shared cultural heritage of Christians, Jews, and Muslims. 

During your tour you will enjoy your lunch will be served at one of our local restaurants. 

The tour ends with a visit to Khan El Khalili, known as the Turkish Bazaar during the Ottoman period, was built in 1382, in the heart of the Fatimid City. 

The Bazaar reveal its secret of a wide antiques, handcrafts of gold, silver and copper as well as numerous old coffee shops.

DAY 03:

Let's go on a journey through time! But not only thanks to centuries-old structures, as in classical programs. You will live the day of an ancient Egyptian: what crafts did he do? What did you eat? What surrounded him? Local flavor, traditional activities that have not changed for 3 thousand years, authentic dishes, as well as the Dahshour necropolis and the Black Pyramid await you.

Life in the Egyptian hinterland

We go to the desert, where the traditional settlement of the Egyptians and the ancient necropolis of Dahshour are located - the oldest for the eras of the Middle and New Kingdoms. Our program will be rich with horseback riding and spotting local animals such as cows, buffalos, donkeys and goats.

Donkey cart ride through the countryside where various plants and palm trees are grown.

Inspection of the unique Black Pyramid, built of clay bricks, and the tombs of ancient dignitaries who participated in the construction

Getting to know local artisans and peasants: potters, woodworkers, bakers, agronomists and others. Here you can also take part in baking traditional Egyptian bread under the guidance of experienced women.

Admiring the sunset in the arms of the oldest pyramids in Egypt

Dinner from Egyptian cuisine: food is cooked on fire according to ancient traditions in a special atmosphere

Chatting and picnic with local peasants around the fire.

Ride a TUK-TUK and visit the largest vegetable and fruit market with traders from different cities of Egypt

DAY 04 (FINAL DEPARTURE):
